What is Mesotherapy?
OR mesotherapy is an injectable method that takes its name from the fact that acts on the middle layer of the skin. It has the ability to deeply revitalize the skin, providing it with all the nutrients it needs to renew its cells and correct the signs of aging. The result? Spectacular improvement in skin texture, hydration, thickness and brightness.
Mesotherapy, or mesolift, relies on specific active ingredients to reproduces the ideal regeneration conditions of the skin. Depending on the needs of each person, a cocktail of vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants and minerals that allow the skin to regenerate. Its great advantage is that it manages to provide its valuable ingredients exactly where they are needed, and that these act locally without spreading to the rest of the body. Thus, the action is so focused that all the benefit is in favor of the skin.

Skin boosters for maximum action
In our clinics, two of the most advanced skin boosters in the world are applied: Jalupro of the Swiss company Professional Derma and NCTF of the French company Filorga. Both belong to the category of famous skin boostersThese are products that are not injected under the skin to fill specific folds or highlight specific features (e.g. lips or cheekbones), but within it to stimulate collagen production and enhance the overall health and youthfulness of the skin.
Skin boosters are suitable for every age and every skin typeThese are very fluid materials that improve the overall condition and quality of the skin, offering shine, hydration, firmness and significant rejuvenation.
Mesotherapy Jalupro & Jalupro HMW
The skin boosters Jalupro and Jalupro HMW are advanced biotechnology products of the Swiss company Professional Derma based in Lugano. They contain one of the most effective cocktails of ingredients that combines 4 different amino acids to provide firmer, younger-looking skin, smooth fine lines and deep wrinkles, fade dark circles and combat signs of acne and photoaging. More specifically, Jalupro and the more enhanced Jalupro HMW contain glycine, L-proline, L-lysine and L-leucine, four important amino acids that have been shown to ensure the nutrition and proliferation of fibroblasts, activate collagenogenesis, slow down the rate of collagen degradation and contribute to the production of growth factors (TGF-b). They are undoubtedly a superior solution in the skin biorejuvenation process, as they utilize all the developments and advances in biotechnology, and are suitable for every skin type.

Mesotherapy NCTF
The NCTF is the well-known skin booster from the French laboratories Filorga based in Paris. It is a unique multi-rejuvenating cocktail of 55 active anti-aging ingredients with the aim of rejuvenating and deeply hydrating skin that lacks radiance and elasticity. In its composition, NCTF contains 14 vitamins, as well as 4 important minerals (calcium, potassium, sodium and magnesium), 24 amino acids, 6 coenzymes, 5 nucleic acid bases and 2 antioxidant ingredients. All together they have the ability to combat the action of elastase and collagenase, enzymes that destroy existing collagen and elastin fibers.
The NCTF application offers visible result from the 1st session and this effectiveness has been documented in detail in many scientific studies: 72% improvement in wrinkles and expression lines, 144% increase in brightness and radiance, 103% enhancement of firmness and tone, 132% development of moisturizing factors, 147% proliferation of fibroblasts, 256% increase in collagen, 90% enhancement of protection from UVA and UVB ultraviolet radiation, as well as 366% improvement in the inhibition of elastase gene expression.
Bio Nutri Lift
The Bio Nutri Lift is the most enhanced version of the NCTF skin booster. It is a "2 in 1" solution, which combines all the rejuvenating benefits of Filorga's well-known skin booster with the exceptional volume and youthfulness restoring capabilities of wrinkle filler. The combined action of the two solutions provides deep nourishment and hydration, improves skin texture, thickness and quality, smoothes fine and deeper wrinkles, corrects sagging, tones cheekbones and restores lost facial volume.
Bio Nutri Lift uses the most innovative application of injections with atraumatic microcannulas and not needles. The entire application is carried out from two entry points: a) the zygomatic arch, where 5 or 6 fan-shaped lines are made towards the nasolabial folds, and b) the corners of the jaw, where 4 or 5 fan-shaped lines are made towards the marionette wrinkles and nasolabial folds.
The complementary action of the biorejuvenating ingredients of the skin booster NCTF and the wrinkle filler offers an immediate non-invasive facelift and creates new support points for lasting results.

Step by step
Mesotherapy
Step 1
Initially, an assessment is carried out by the doctor to determine the condition and needs of your face. At this stage, he/she will recommend the suitable cocktail of ingredients which can give you the best result. If necessary, a few units of botulinum toxin or a small amount of wrinkle filler may be added to the mixture for more enhanced antiaging action.

Step 2
Your skin is cleansed of any dirt and makeup, and then the injection points and boundaries are marked with a white pencilIf desired, a local anesthetic cream can be used before application, so that the stinging sensation is completely tolerable.
Step 3
The application is done either with special atraumatic microcannulas, or with very fine intradermal needles that create small bumps (like bee stings). Its duration does not exceed 10-15 minutes per area.

Step 4
At the end of the application, the skin is thoroughly cleansed and, if desired, followed by coverage with special makeup. It is time for you to schedule your next appointment and return to your daily activities.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does mesotherapy work?
The mesotherapy cocktail "awakens" fibroblasts, which begin to malfunction over time. They are the skin cells that produce collagen and elastin, key materials for the youthful appearance of the face. As the ability of fibroblasts to biosynthesize the above substances decreases, the signs of skin aging intensify. Mesotherapy has the ability to reactivate fibroblasts and restore their performance to their old youthful levels. How? By providing them with the substances necessary for their life, growth and nutrition, such as vitamins, amino acids, trace elements, etc.
How many mesotherapy sessions are needed for facial rejuvenation?
The number of sessions depends on the condition and needs of your skin, as well as the material to be used. If the Jalupro skin booster or the more enhanced version Jalupro HMW is chosen, then an average of 3-4 sessions will be required with an interval of 1-2 weeks. If NCTF is considered more appropriate, then 5 sessions are usually required. The first three are done with an interval of 15 days, while the rest are done every 30 days. Finally, as for the enhanced Bio Nutri Lift that combines NCTF application and wrinkle filler, 2 sessions are sufficient with an interval of three months.
When are the results visible and how long do they last?
The skin begins to transform within the first 24 hours of application and for a period of 8 weeks. Most people begin to notice a significant difference in their face approximately 3-4 weeks after the first session. As the fibroblasts now work intensively and produce fresh collagen and elastin, the result is constantly improving and the face regains its lost radiance and firmness. The result can last for many years with proper maintenance.
Does it hurt?
No. Local anesthetic cream is applied to the injection area so that the sensation of the injections is completely tolerable.
Is there a recovery time?
Mesotherapy is a “lunch-time treatment” that allows you to return to your daily activities immediately. It is possible to observe mild redness or swelling from the injections, but this is something temporary that can be easily covered with makeup. It is also possible that for a few hours the bumps from the injections of the mesolysis material will still be visible. However, this is a phenomenon that subsides within a few hours (at most within 24 hours).
Does it have side effects?
Mesotherapy is one of the most proven solutions in medicine. It has been applied since the 1950s, when it was first used to treat rheumatic diseases (rheumatoid arthritis), musculoskeletal pain and sports injuries. However, very soon, its effectiveness was also found to treat sagging and wrinkling of the skin, cellulite, and even hair loss. The possible side effects are minimal and mild, and are limited to the possibility of skin sensitivity, swelling, redness or itching. When applied by a specialized doctor with certified materials, then the possible side effects are minimal.
Does it have any contraindications?
It is contraindicated for people who suffer from any skin condition or lesion, have a history of autoimmune disease, are hypersensitive or allergic to any of its ingredients, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Can it be applied to the body?
Of course. It is a technique that can, with the appropriate materials, address aesthetic issues of the body, such as localized fat, cellulite and sagging. Body mesotherapy can be safely applied to the neck, décolleté, arms, abdomen, back, sides of the waist, buns, thighs and knees, and can also be performed on the scalp to treat hair loss.
How often do I need to repeat it to maintain the result?
If you follow mesotherapy with the skin booster Jalupro or Jalupro HMW, then a cycle of 3 solutions is usually recommended for maintenance after 6-12 months. On the other hand, in the case of NCTF, maintenance involves 1 session every 3 months. However, the exact number of sessions, as well as their frequency, are determined by the doctor based on the condition and needs of your own skin.
