We create the new nose
before we go into surgery
We know the outcome in advance.
In the clinical examination before surgery, in addition to recording your wishes for how you want your new nose, we perform a palpation, a detailed analysis of your face and take specific photographs of your nose with special lighting and multiple angles. The clinical examination and the study of static and dynamic imaging photographs allow us to design a fully personalized surgical plan for an operation, the targeted sculpting of the tissues, the modification of the corners of the nose and to know the result that will result almost absolutely.
100% natural effect
We apply the technique that is appropriate to provide the perfect result in your case.

Closed Rhinoplasty
Closed rhinoplasty is performed with invisible incisions made inside the nose. It is the first rhinoplasty method developed and the one we prefer for simpler cases, such as the correction of a hump on the nose (hump). The main difference with open rhinoplasty is that we do not separate the skin from the nasal skeleton, resulting in minimal postoperative swelling. Closed rhinoplasty is a shorter surgery with a faster recovery, since a large part of the anatomical relationships of the nose remain intact.
Open Rhinoplasty
Open rhinoplasty is performed through a small incision made in the narrow part of the styloid process and extends slightly into both nostrils. It is the method of choice for more complex anatomical, aesthetic and functional problems of the nose, such as when dealing with septal issues. With open rhinoplasty, we separate the skin of the nose from its skeleton, thus obtaining better visibility of the surgical field and access to all anatomical structures of the nose. It is the method of choice for augmentative or corrective rhinoplasty, as it allows for greater precision in correcting the nose.

Augmentative Rhinoplasty
Augmentative rhinoplasty is a technique that requires special experience and skill in its execution. We use grafts that allow us to better support the nose, correct its ridge or the projection of the tip, but also to improve breathing. The grafts are autologous and not composite, that is, we take them from the patient himself (e.g. cartilage from the septum or ear, a piece of bone from the ribs or connective tissue from the temple area). Augmentative rhinoplasty is most often performed with the open method, as it is a highly demanding procedure.
Reduction Rhinoplasty
With reduction rhinoplasty, we remove tissue from the bony or cartilaginous structures of the nose, thus sculpting a bulky or droopy nose. The goal of reduction rhinoplasty is to harmonize the volume, shape and size of the nose with the rest of the facial features, so that the nose does not make its presence so noticeable. At the same time, we can address functional problems and improve breathing. Reduction rhinoplasty is most commonly performed with the open method and usually does not require the use of grafts.

Nose Tip Rhinoplasty
With tip rhinoplasty, we correct any imperfection of the tip of the nose, offering a significant improvement in the overall image of the nose and the entire face. We have the ability to change the size, shape, angles and projection of the tip of the nose, providing a solution to common imperfections such as a “boxy nose tip” (square nose), a “bulbous tip” (bulky tip), but also in cases where the tip of the nose is wide, crooked, protruding or asymmetrical. For tip rhinoplasty, we choose either the open or closed method (delivery method) depending on the correction we want to achieve.
Septoplasty & Orchiotomy
Deviated diaphragm & hypertrophic turbinates
The nasal septum and the nasal turbinates often present problems that result in difficulty in nasal breathing. The septum, which is the central osteo-cartilaginous part of the nose that divides it into two equal cavities, often appears crooked, deformed and asymmetrical, causing difficulty in breathing, as well as headaches, snoring, sleep apnea, etc.
The turbinates also act as filters for the inhaled air, warming and humidifying it to prevent dryness in the pharynx. However, they often become hypertrophic, significantly obstructing breathing. With the method of septoplasty and laryngotomy, respectively, we have the ability to restore smooth airflow and free your breathing.

Photographic analysis
The most reliable planning tool for the entire operating room
Detailed facial photographic analysis is the most reliable tool for planning the entire surgery. The analysis is based on 6 standard facial shots: one frontal, two profiles (right and left), two in a three-quarter pose (right and left), and one of the base of the nose with the face turned upwards. To design the surgical plan, we observe not only the static images of the nose, but also how it changes depending on facial expressions. We also take into account the scientific algorithms that accompany the “beautiful” nose, always having as our goal that your new nose balances the rest of your facial features.

Frontal facial shot (en face)

Focused frontal shot of nose

Download profile
The dominant features of the nose profile are the projection and curve of the tip of the nose and the contour of its ridge. We also examine the angle between the bridge of the nose and the starting point of the forehead, knowing that the ideal angle is approximately 120 degrees. In taking the profile, we also obtain important information about the projection of the styloid (inner skin of the nostrils), the angle between the tip of the nose and the upper lip, but also about the relationship of the nose to the chin, in order to achieve harmony in the facial profile (bird's-eye view).

Three-quarter shot
Three-quarter views offer us important information about the bony and cartilaginous part of the nasal hump, revealing asymmetries or protrusions of the nasal ridge.

Taking the base of the nose
To assess the base of the nose, the head should be turned towards the ceiling, so that the tip of the nose projects between the eyebrows. The shape of the base of the nose is ideally an equilateral triangle, while if it appears as a long isosceles triangle, then it is likely that the tip of the nose is over-projected. Then, this triangle is divided horizontally into three equal parts, with the two lower ones occupied by the nostrils, which should be symmetrical and oval, otherwise they reveal a possible abnormality in the septum or other deformities.
What we DON'T do

We do NOT create the perfect French nose.
At The Antiagers Clinics, every rhinoplasty is unique. The perfect French nose is not and should not be the goal. This standard, which as expected appeared "foreign" to thousands of faces in previous years, has now been surpassed. We do not want your new nose to look surgical and draw attention to itself. On the contrary, we want it to "tie" harmoniously with your face and look completely natural. Therefore, we do not create a specific type of nose on all faces. Each rhinoplasty is personalized and designed based on a detailed analysis of your face.
We do NOT design based on digital simulation systems.
Virtual rhinoplasty software programs are a very superficial approximation of the result of a surgery. No digital simulation system can capture the final result. The bones, cartilage and skin of the nose are structures that differ from person to person, require clinical examination and palpation, and cannot be processed by a software program. There is a great risk of developing false expectations. At The Antiagers Clinics, after a thorough discussion with you to record your desires and needs, we follow a detailed analysis of your face and study dozens of static and dynamic imaging photos to design the personalized surgical plan.

Frequently Asked Questions
From what age can I undergo rhinoplasty?
In order for a patient to undergo rhinoplasty, it is important that the nose has completed its development. In girls, nose development is usually completed around the age of 14, while in boys it is slightly later. Beyond this, there is no other age restriction for a patient to improve the aesthetics or functionality of their nose with rhinoplasty.
Does rhinoplasty hurt?
Rhinoplasty is performed under general anesthesia, so there is no pain during the surgery. As for recovery, most of the time it is easier than our patients expect. Rhinoplasty is a day surgery, meaning it does not require an overnight stay in the hospital. Our patients return home after a few hours and to deal with the pain, it is enough to take common analgesics. From the very next day, they feel much better and apart from the swelling of the area, there is no pain or other discomfort.
When are the stitches removed?
In the case of closed rhinoplasty, the stitches are placed inside the nose and are not removed, but are absorbed by the body. In the case of open rhinoplasty, on the contrary, where the stitches are placed in the bridge of the nose, they are removed on the 7th day after the surgery. The external incision heals so well within the next 1 to 3 months that it almost disappears.
When can I return to work?
Rhinoplasty is a minimally invasive procedure that allows you to return to your activities very quickly. By the 3rd day after surgery, the postoperative swelling has almost completely subsided and only the small special splint that has been placed on the nose to protect it reminds you that you have undergone surgery. If you are employed in an office job, you can return to your work normally, otherwise you will need to wait for the stitches to be removed on the 7th day to gradually return to your activities.
Open or closed rhinoplasty?
Closed rhinoplasty is the most classic method, in which the incisions are intranasal, that is, made inside the nostrils. It is a reliable and proven method that is usually preferred for solving simpler aesthetic or functional defects of the nose. In contrast, open rhinoplasty is performed through a small incision in the styloid of the nose, through which wide access and direct vision of the entire surgical field are offered, and is usually chosen for the correction of more complex issues or when the placement of grafts is required (augmentative rhinoplasty). However, the choice between open or closed rhinoplasty is a decision made by the surgeon, after a detailed analysis of the characteristics and needs of each case, in order to achieve the optimal result.
